Dan Lucas - Maintenance Director

Dan is a Traverse City resident with 25 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent in Michigan. Dan has been at Kingsley since construction started, teaming with course architect Mike DeVries and owners Ed Walker and Art Preston to build the course.

Since the course opened in May 2001 he has built a reputation for providing the consistently firm, fast playing surfaces required to maximize the design intent, and playability of The Kingsley Club.

David Plassman - Director of Golf and Membership

David Plassman is the Director of Golf & Membership at the Kingsley Club.  Before arriving at the Kingsley Club in 2003, David spent time as an Assistant Golf Professional at various clubs around the U.S. including such venues as Muirfield Village GC, Ventana Canyon GC, Medinah CC, Pinehurst CC, and Bel-Air CC.  David’s vast experience has been beneficial for the Kingsley Clubs’ success!

Brian L. Conklin - General Manager

At an early age Brian knew he wanted to be in the golf business and started at the tender age of 13. Since age 13, Brian has held every position in the club business from night waterman to superintendent to general manager. Peaked as a golfer in high school and have been deteriorating ever since. Brian joined the Kingsley Club staff in 2003.

Justin Mack - Head Golf Professional

Justin was born and raised in Traverse City before leaving for Grand Valley State University. While at GVSU he received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Human Resources Management. Before joining the Kingsley Club staff, Justin served as an Assistant at LochenHeath Golf Club, Grand Traverse Resort and Egypt Valley Country Club. Justin joined the Kingsley Club staff in 2004.
